The representation highlighted that the existing eligibility criteria, requiring Chartered Accountant firms to have a partnership with an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)/Tally Partner and prior relevant experience, are restrictive in nature. It was submitted that Chartered Accountant firms are not permitted to enter into partnerships with other professionals, except as provided under Regulation 53B. Accordingly, it was requested that CA firms not having a partnership with an OEM/Tally Partner or prior experience may also be considered eligible to participate in the Notice Inviting Tender.
